Cemetery Trustees

Present: Ruth Hammen, Scott Marston, Fred Shaw
Meeting Change: The Trustees have changed the meeting date and time to 9AM on the first Friday of each month. Meetings will still be at the Town Hall.
Pineground: Due to a dry summer with fewer mowings necessary, groundskeeper, Scott Marston, has been able to cut trees and brush. Specifically, he has trimmed branches on the north side, trimmed back to the fence on the middle 3rd of the south side, cut rogue trees within the cemetery, and cleared the west side of the cemetery reclaiming land back to the fence. Road agent, Jim Plunkett, has graciously offered to chip and remove the remains.
Budget: The 2011 budget has been submitted to the selectmen including a required 2% reduction. Presentation of this budget to the budget committee will be Nov 9 at 8:15PM.
RFP: The notice for bids on cemetery mowing/maintenance for 2011 has been published in the Suncook Sun. Details of the bid are available at the town offices or online.
Resignation: The Trustees accepted the resignation of Robin Stephens. She has moved out of town and will no longer be able to serve. The Trustees would like to acknowledge her many years of public service on this board.
Batchelder Cemetery: Large stones have fallen off the west wall into the cemetery. No gravestones have been damaged. The Trustees are looking into means of getting them re-laid.
Cemetery Rules and Regulations: Revised rules and regulations have been posted at Leavitt and Pineground Cemeteries.
